Senator Parker teamed up Shamika Yearwood & New York Blood Center to encourage New Yorkers to give blood

Senator Parker partnered with New York Blood Center and college intern Shamika Yearwood to encourage Flatbush residents to donateblood at the Senator’s constituent service day event.  To incentivize would be donors, the New York Blood Center promised Ms. Yearwood a $250 scholarship towards her tuition if she could help them collect 40 pints of blood.
