Hearing And Confirmation Vote Wednesday For Jonathan Lippman, Nominee For Chief Judge Of The Court Of Appeals

State Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman John Sampson (D-Brooklyn) and members of his committee will meet Wednesday morning to take up Governor Paterson’s nomination of Judge Jonathan Lippman to the position of Chief Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals, New York’s highest court. 

Following the meeting of the Judiciary Committee, Judge Lippman’s nomination will move to the floor of the Senate for a full confirmation vote.
