The place to be this Saturday is Oyster Bay for a fun and free kick off to a healthy summer.
It's time once again to get Healthy and Fit at Senator Marcellino and the Oyster Bay Chamber of Commerce’s 8th Annual Health & Fitness Fair on May 14th from 11 am to 4 pm on Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay and at the Annual Brooke Jackman 5K Run/Walk for Literacy at 10:15am with a free ¼ Mile Fun Run for Future Olympians (age 12 and under) at 9:45am.
Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay will be home to over 75 exhibitors as they demonstrate their specialties. A favorite spot will sure to be the massage chair or for daredevils you may want o climb the Rock Wall and we guarantee the kids' favorite will be the inflatable and interactive games. From karate demonstrations to chiropractors to the prevention of breast cancer, there will be something for everyone. Whether it's learning more about nutrition, exercise, laser cosmetics and holistic health care there is sure to be something that interests you.
Directions:
Take the Northern State to Exit 35N, Route 106/107 North or take the Long Island Expressway (I495) to Exit 41N, Route 106/107 North.
Follow Route 106 North for 6.5 miles crossing over Route 25A and proceed into downtown Oyster Bay. Rte 106 is called South Street when you are in the hamlet of Oyster Bay. Audrey Avenue is on the left.

About the Brooke Jackman Foundation
The Brooke Jackman Foundation is a not for profit organization created in response to the 9/11 World Trade Center attack that claimed the life of 23 year old Oyster Bay resident Brooke Jackman. Its mission is to honor Brooke's deep love of reading and interest in helping children by creating and supporting programs enhancing the literacy and self esteem of children. Proceeds from the Brooke Jackman Run For Literacy will directly support the Brooke Pack, Project Brooke and Brooke's Books projects offered to children in need.
