As a member of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Mandate Relief Redesign Team, I have been meeting with municipal officials, school boards, labor leaders and other stakeholders to find ways to reinvent the system of unfunded or underfunded State mandates that burden local governments and increase taxes.
