Please be advised that MTA Staten Island Railway (SIR) will be rehabilitating the Armstrong Avenue Bridge during the weekend of May 11-13, 2012.
The rehabilitation of the Armstrong Avenue Bridge includes the repair and painting of steel members, abutment walls, waterproofing of the bridge deck including removal and replacement of tracks.MTA NYCT/SIR is undertaking the rehabilitation of the bridge as part of a $21M project to rehabilitate eight bridges along SIR.
