New MyDMV Options Increase Customer Service and Help Lessen Visits to DMV Offices
Senator Andrew Lanza today announced that the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has expanded its online services, making it easier for New York motorists to quickly and easily view the current status of their driver license and renew or replace a driver license, permit or non-driver ID online through the DMV website.

Vote by Greater New York Council of the Boy Scouts of America Enables State-Negotiated Conservation Plan to Protect Natural Environment on Staten Island
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Senator Andrew J. Lanza today announced the approval of a conservation plan for the William H. Pouch Scout Camp on Staten Island. New York State is providing $6 million through the Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) for phases 2 and 3 of the conservation plan. These phases were approved this week by the Board of Directors of the Greater New York Councils (GNYC) of the Boy Scouts of America, which owns the property.
The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYC Parks), in partnership with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Long-Term Planning & Sustainability (OLTPS), seek responses to this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) to enhance and re-invigorate the public beachfronts and open spaces on the East and South Shores of Staten Island.
