Ribbon cutting ceremony for Orchard Grove at the Woodlands.

Senator Young joined local officials and representatives from Heritage Ministries for a ribbon cutting ceremony for Orchard Grove at the Woodlands, a brand new adult care facility in West Ellicott.

Each of the three cottages, which are the first of their kind in Chautauqua County, contain twelve private rooms with a private bath and shower with “family-style” kitchen, living and dining room where seniors can congregate as they would in their own homes. Additionally seniors have access to outdoor recreational areas, perfect for enjoying the warmth of spring and summer.

Congratulations to Heritage Ministries! The new buildings are wonderful and are a terrific alternative for our seniors!

Senator Young and Assemblyman Joe Giglio join Holiday Valley President Dennis Eshbaugh at the grand opening of the Holiday Valley Lodge in Ellicottville.

This past weekend, Senator Young joined Holiday Valley President Dennis Eshbaugh and Assemblyman Joe Giglio at an event marking the grand opening of the Holiday Valley Lodge in Ellicottville. This new lodge will be a huge tourist attraction for skiers and snowboarders all throughout Western New York, the Finger Lakes and the Southern Tier.

The 66,000-square foot resort replaces a building that dated back to 1962. Despite no snow accumulations, the cold weather has enabled the resort to make their own snow and open for the season.

We wish nothing but the best for Dennis and his team!
