During her most recent appearance on “Your Voice,” Senator Catharine Young (R,C,I-Olean) discussed the Senate’s one-house budget resolution, known as “Brighter Future,” as well as the on-going Joint Budget Subcommittees and her support for education in this year’s state budget.


Last week, the Senate passed their budget resolution. The Senate’s plan continues New York on the path to a fifth consecutive on-time budget while providing property tax relief for homeowners, strong support for students, and a significant investment in the state’s infrastructure.

This year’s budget makes a strong investment in rural broadband service, provides record levels of funding for our local schools and includes significant tax relief for local property tax payers.
