Tkaczyk Accepts Leadership Role on Important Senate Committees

State Senator Cecilia Tkaczyk (D-46th S.D.) has been appointed the Ranking Democratic Member on two legislative committees -- Elections and Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities. She will also serve as a member of four other Senate committees – Education, Agriculture, Environmental Conservation and Children and Families.

Emergency Medical Services Memorial Dedication Ceremony

I was honored to take part in a very moving ceremony to pay tribute to Eric Monty and David Restuccio, two EMS professionals who lost their lives in the line of duty. Behind me you can see the "Tree of Life" Memorial which honors fallen EMS professionals. The event also honored the 60,000 EMS personnel in NYS who serve the public every day.
