Bellmore-merrick Central High School District’s Saul Lerner Appointed To Statewide Advisory Panel

      State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) announced today that Saul Lerner, Director of Physical Education, Athletics, Driver Education, and Health at the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District, has been appointed to a statewide advisory panel on driver education. Senator Fuschillo recommended Mr. Lerner to the Senate for appointment to the position.

Senator Fuschillo Meets With Amityville Residents During His "mobile Office Hours" Program

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) today visited the Amityville Library to speak with constituents as part of his “mobile office hours” program.

Senator Fuschillo met one-on-one with constituents and listened as they voiced their concerns about a number of different issues.

"People deserve to have the chance to speak directly with their elected representatives to share their thoughts and concerns. This is a wonderful way to meet individually with constituents and talk about the issues they feel are important," said Senator Fuschillo.

Senator Fuschillo Salutes The Wounded Warriors

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) today joined with members of the community in cheering on the Wounded Warriors during their “Babylon to the Beaches” soldier ride. The ride, which spanned over 24 miles from Babylon Town Hall to Cedar Beach, which raised awareness about the needs for wounded soldiers. The Wounded Warriors were joined by dozens of volunteers and members of local police and fire departments in making the ride.
