New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently joined with the Integrated Medical Foundation and Bostwick Laboratories to sponsor a free prostate cancer screening program at the Freeport Library. Over 70 men took advantage of the program and received a free screening.

New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) is partnering with Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and the Colette Coyne Melanoma Awareness Campaign (CCMAC) to help protect residents from skin cancer after a summer in the sun. 

Members of the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores recently welcomed New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) to their monthly meeting. The Chamber invited Senator Fuschillo to thank him for his continued support of programs that promote economic development in the Bellmore community.

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that Governor David Paterson has approved legislation he sponsors that will make information about lymphatic diseases more readily available to New Yorkers suffering from these diseases.  

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) today announced that dangerous drop-side cribs will be banned in New York State, now that legislation he sponsored has been signed by Governor David Paterson.  

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) today offered information to residents about how to protect themselves from West Nile virus. West Nile virus, a mosquito-borne infection that can cause serious illness or death in some cases, has been detected in several mosquito pools in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

“Although the chances of becoming ill from West Nile virus are small, residents should still take steps to safeguard themselves,” said Senator Fuschillo. “Taking a few simple steps will help reduce the risk of West Nile virus and help protect your family.”
