Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick, pictured right) and Assemblyman David McDonough (R-North Merrick, pictured left) today joined with New York State Department of Transportation Commissioner Joan McDonald and New York State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey in announcing a project that will improve bike access to Jones Beach.

SENATOR FUSCHILLO: STATE BUDGET INCLUDES FUNDING FOR JONES BEACH IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

        Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that the recently approved New York State Budget contains $11.75 million in funding to make improvements at Jones Beach.

        The $11.75 million improvement project will help rehabilitate the West bathhouse building and swimming pool, the Jones Beach boardwalk, and electrical and water systems at the Park. The project is part of the New York Works program.
