Senator Fuschillo speaks with former Roosevelt School District Superintendent Dr. Ulysses Byas during the grand opening of the newly renovated school which bears Dr. Byas' name. Construction was necessary because the old building had become structurally unsound and unsafe. Students now have a new, modern structure to conduct their studies.
