NY Laughs: Laughter in the Park 2009

Laughter in the Park is New York's only free outdoor comedy series. Every week, we present two hours of comedy at one of six different city parks.

NYLaughs, Inc. is a unique non-profit that wants to change the cultural landscape of the Big Apple through humor. We seek to elevate the comic arts and provide laughter for free to New Yorkers on a consistent basis by producing free live comedy shows in New York City's public spaces; from its parks and streets to its subways. River to River Festival: The 28th Annual Downtown Dance Festival

The 28th Annual Downtown Dance Festival invites audiences to enjoy nine days of ethnic, classical and contemporary dance from around the world.

The River To River Festival takes place each summer from June through August, in a variety of public venues that canvas all of Downtown New York - from Chambers Street down to the southern tip of Manhattan and across the island from river to river.

Movies With A View: Catch Me If You Can

The Conservancy's most popular event returns for its tenth anniversary year! Movies With A View is one of the city's premiere outdoor film series with an eclectic line-up of films and breathtaking views of the NYC waterfront. The films are chosen by an all-volunteer Film Committee and each feature is preceded by a short film. DJs from Brooklyn Radio kick off the evening, spinning tunes as the sun sets, and RICE sells delicious dinners onsite. Bike valet provided by Transportation Alternatives.
