On Friday, October 22nd, I will be hosting my Annual Golden Gathering Senior Health Fair and hope that you can join me for this great event. This year, free flu vaccinations, blood pressure and diabetes screenings, and other free health care services will be available. As in years past, my Golden Gathering will be held between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the Rockville Centre Recreation Center located at 111 North Oceanside Road in Rockville Centre.At this special event, a variety of informational materials and demonstrations will be available from nearly 50 federal, state and local government agencies, health care organizations, and other important groups.
Senator Skelos will be holding mobile office hours on Monday, August 9th, from 3pm to 7:30 pm at the West Hemptead Library which is located at 500 Hempstead Avenue. Constituents will be able to speak with Senator Skelos and his staff about any concerns they may have. No appointments are necessary.

I am pleased to announce that I will be hosting my first annual NYS Senate Career Fair on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the Rockville Centre Recreation Centre from 9am-1pm. Given the results of my recent online survey, it was clear to me that jobs and the economy are on many people’s minds. I hope this fair will provide some opportunities to help those who are currently in the job market.
On Friday, January 29th, I will be hosting an H1N1 Flu vaccination program with the assistance of the Nassau Health Care Corporation.At this event free H1N1 (swine flu) vaccinations will be available.
