I agree with you Senator Skelos -- Enough is Enough!  The Federal government has been hammering New Yorkers with higher and higher taxes for far too long, and I strongly oppose the new “double-taxation” scheme now being considered in Washington D.C.

Share Your Views for a Stronger Economy

 

New York is facing one of the most significant economic challenges in recent history. That’s why – in partnership with Governor Andrew Cuomo – we took decisive action during this year’s Legislative Session to help revitalize our economy and create new job opportunities here in New York State. 

 

Taken together, these changes and reforms represent one of the boldest job-creation plans New York State has enacted in decades. That’s good news – especially in terms of our efforts to create new jobs here right on Long Island.  But more needs to be done.  As we continue to work to strengthen New York’s economy, I would like to find out your opinion on a few key items that will be discussed in the coming months.
