The Grand Army Plaza Coalition (GAPCo) celebrated the recent improvements to street and bicycle networks around Grand Army Plaza, improving traffic and pedestrian safety and access around the plaza, and beautifying existing and new pedestrian islands. The Grand Army Plaza Coalition was founded in March 2006 by Project for Public Spaces and a group of committed local residents.
