Senator Adams attended the Purim celebration at the Jewish Children's Museum. Children and young adults with special needs enjoyed themselves as they celebrated together this most joyous holiday making their own "Hamantash" a traditional Purim cookie, crafts, entertained with juggling show and Megilla Service - a time to sit together and listen to the story of miraculous redemption.
Senator Adams attended the Asian In NY 2013 Lunar New Year Celebration and 8th Fashion Show event, where he celebrated the Lunar New Year with many guests enjoying music, food, comedy, dance, and good company.
Tinneesia White-Flores is a 10th grader at Achievement First Brooklyn High School and has been a Girl Scout for approximately 7 years. She is currently a senior Girl Scout at St. Marks Church/Day School, Troop 2679, in Crown Heights, and she enjoys the many outreach and educational programs it offers.
NYS Senator Eric Adams was the keynote speaker at the Committee of African Americans in Transit Event Black History Month program. Classical music group Major Strings entertained the crowd of 250 guests.
Senator Adams was one of the guests of honor at the Consulate General of Japan's ceremony and reception honoring the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and the contribution that the institution has made for Japan-US cultural exchange through their annual Cherry Blossom Festival.
