New York State Senator Eric Adams will host Governor David Paterson at a visit to celebrate Sukkot at the Jewish Children’s Museum

New York State Senator Eric Adams will host Governor David Paterson, who will travel from Albany to celebrate the holiday of Sukkot at the Jewish Children’s Museum, 792 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn.  The festivities will take place on Wednesday, October 7, from 6PM to 7PM.

NYS Senator Eric Adams was joined on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 by Dr. Phillip Hew, Director of Emergency Medicine, Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, Jonathan Swerdlin, Founder and President, Flu Armour, and Seth R. Segel, Executive Vice-President, Cantel Medical Corp to exhibit and give a demonstration of the proper use of supplies in an H1N1 Family Flu Defense Kit, including face masks, gloves, hand sanitizers, and disinfectants.

Senator Adams remarks on Governor Paterson’s Executive Order to allow NYC OTB to file for bankruptcy:

“During the almost forty-year history of New York State off-track betting, New York City has become the leading betting region in the state, with a handle closing in on $1 billion. As elements in a public benefit corporation, regional OTB locations, including those in New York City, provide both state and local government with millions of dollars in revenue to help mitigate the cost of essential projects.
