In addition to Senator Flanagan, Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith and Yorktown Councilman Terrence Murphy will be joining Mahopac Superintendent Manko and Senator Ball’s Mandate Relief Advisory Council at the September 7th roundtable.

Brewster, N.Y. – 8/12/2013 – New guidelines recently released by the state comptroller’s office have revealed that because of a decline in inflation, the state’s property tax cap in 2014 will be lowered from 2 percent to 1.66 percent. Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) has issued the following statement regarding the tightened tax cap.
Carmel, N.Y. – (8/07/13) – The Carmel Town Board has officially nominated Marjorie L. Nichols Keith into the 2013 40th Senate District Women of Distinction Ceremony and Yvonne Rustico into the 2013 40th Senate District Veterans’ Hall of Fame.

Senator Greg Ball has announced that the third round of the Regional Economic Development Council has begun. The Hudson Valley Regional Economic Development Council will again compete against nine other councils throughout the state for a total of $760 million in state funding and tax incentives.
$760 Million In State Funding and Tax Incentives Up For Grabs
Brewster, N.Y. – 8/07/2013 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) has announced that the third round of the Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) has begun. The Hudson Valley Regional Economic Development Council will again compete against 9 other councils throughout the state for a total of $760 million in state funding and tax incentives.
“Everybody when they come back feels like there’s something wrong with them, or they’re broken, or they’re the only ones feeling this way,” Tim Strobel, the Suffolk County program coordinator for the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Veterans Peer to Peer Program, explained to a group of local officials at Carmel’s Spain Cornerstone Park Thursday. “But when they come to this group,” Strobel continued, “they hear the other guys talking. It almost validates what they’re going through.”

Brewster, N.Y. – 8/05/2013 – With a heavy heart and great sadness, Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) has announced the recent passing of Hazel Martinez, a Patterson resident and Gold Star Mother.
NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – A state grant will offset the costs of a 20-kilowatt standby generator and water disinfection system, which will return safe running water to the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library in North Salem this fall, its Director Carolyn Reznick said.
