Urges Governor and Legislature to pass legislation before end of session

Elmsford, N.Y. – (5/3/12) – On Thursday night Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) joined Local 812 (Soft Drinks and Breweries) to honor Carmel resident Bill Sampson with the Distinguished Service Award.

Carmel, N.Y. – 5/1/2012- Last night a fatal house fire broke out on Wyndham Lane in Carmel, NY. Authorities said, a veteran Larchmont police captain, his wife and two teenage daughters died in a house fire, and his son remains hospitalized.
In honor of West Point day last Thursday, the Legislature passed several bills protecting veteran’s rights and helping them obtain jobs. West Point day at the Capitol honored cadets and staff from the United States Military Academy at West Point and invited them to meet members of the Legislature.

Brewster, N.Y. – (5/2/12) Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson), is enlisting the support of his Animal Advisory Council, concerned constituents and furry friends, to address issue of “Puppy Mills” in New York State.
Additional money to Hudson Valley counties to help them recover from Hurricane Irene will be provided by the state, Sen. Greg Ball said Wednesday.
Ball said the state contribution will ease the burden on localities as they rebuild streams and roads. Philipstown sustained especially high damage in Putnam, and rebuilding is still continuing. Eligible disaster recovery efforts are typically covered at 75 percent by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, with the remainder split between the state and munipalities.
Jefferson Valley, N.Y. – (4/27/2012) –Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) served a free pasta dinner for over 250 residents at the Jefferson Village community center this past Friday night. The dinner was complete with spaghetti, meatballs, toss salad and sliced Italian bread.
