MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — State Sen. Greg Ball (R-Patterson) of the 40th Senate District visited Mount Kisco on Thursday and spoke passionately about trying to pass his veteran’s assistance bill that is currently on the floor. His bill, labeled S5381A/A1386A, is to make New York state create a state-owned cemetery in his senate district.

Pound Ridge, N.Y.  – (2/23/12) – On Thursday, February 23rd, Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) presented some of the potentially devastating effects of hydraulic fracturing to the Pound Ridge community at the Croton Free Library.  Hydraulic fracturing, otherwise known as hydrofracking or fracking, is the process of extracting natural gas from gas shale deposits.

SENATOR BALL ATTENDS ‘FRIENDS OF EDDIE’ FUNDRAISER TO RAISE MONEY FOR DETECTIVE SGT. EDWARD DICAPRIO

 

Yonkers, N.Y.  – (2/19/12) – On Sunday, February 19th, Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) attended a benefit fundraiser at the Empire City Casino in Yonkers for Mahopac resident Sergeant Edward DiCaprio of the Yonkers Police Department.  Sgt. DiCaprio is a 21-year veteran of the department and a single parent of three who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

SENATOR BALL DEMANDS SWIFT PASSAGE OF STATEWIDE CHILD SAFETY ZONE LAW AFTER PEDOPHILE IS PLACED NEAR SCHOOLS, DAYCARE AND BUS STOP

 

Carmel, N.Y. – (2/17/2012) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) was joined by local lawmakers in Carmel on Friday to demand that his statewide Child Safety Zone Law (S1475) be passed immediately for the protection of our children in the wake of revelations that Level 3 Sex Offender and convicted pedophile Lance Smith was placed across the street from a daycare and a nursery school. In addition, a school bus stop where elementary children congregate is just 30′ away from his home, and Carmel High School and St. James the Apostle School are within a mile.
