SENATOR BALL INTRODUCES GOV. APPOINTEE FOR COMMISSIONER OF STATE DIVISION OF HOMELAND SECURITY TO FIRST RESPONDERS

 

 

Carmel, N.Y.– 1/7/2012— On Friday, Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) introduced more than 100 members of New York’s law enforcement and fire prevention community to Jerome M. Hauer, the Governor’s appointee for Commissioner of the Department of Homeland Security at the district’s Inaugural Law Enforcement and Fire Prevention Roundtable Summit Meeting.

At the Paladin Center in Carmel, NY, Senator Ball provided a forum for each county and local municipality in the 40th Senate District to share feedback concerning the training and development needs of their police and fire departments, and to discuss their current emergency preparedness plans.

Brewster, N.Y. – (12/22/2011) – The residents of Pulte Homes in Carmel got an early Christmas present, Thursday, when Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) and Santa Claus showed up with the gift of tax relief.

During a legislative update at Pulte Homes last week, residents told Senator Ball that they were worried about a tax hike because of a possible condo tax. So, Senator Ball returned to Pulte Homes Thursday night along with Carmel Town Supervisor Kenneth Schmitt, Carmel Town Councilwoman Suzanne McDonough and Santa Claus to pledge that they would fight the condo tax.

SENATOR BALL PLEDGES TO SECURE FUNDING FOR YORKTOWN SENIOR CENTER DURING HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

 

Brewster, N.Y. – (12/26/2011) –The Yorktown senior community got more than a visit from Senator Greg Ball (R, C-Patterson) at their annual holiday celebration— they got a commitment from Senator Ball that he will work to secure at least $100,000 in funding, which they never received from the Dormitory Authority for ongoing renovations to the Yorktown Senior Center.

The center offers nutrition programs, home meals, grocery shopping, a wellness program, medical transportation and a multitude of classes for the seniors who walk through its doors.

SENATOR GREG BALL DELIVERS HOME RUN FOR PATTERSON TAX PAYERS BY PRESENTING TOWN WITH $1 MILLION FOR COURT HOUSE

 

Brewster, N.Y. – (12/14/11) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) presented the Town of Patterson with a $1 million check on Thursday afternoon in front of the new Patterson Court House. Senator Ball successfully secured $1 million from the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) for the construction of the Patterson Court House, which he says is a home run for Patterson tax payers.
