Brewster, N.Y. – (10/27/10) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) today joined Yorktown Councilman Dr. Terrence Murphy for a news conference in Yorktown Heights, N.Y. where they demanded that legislation be introduced and passed for the protection of our children. Ball and Murphy are calling on officials in Westchester County to enact Child Safety Zone legislation, which prohibits convicted sexual predators from living within 1,000 feet of any school, playground, school bus stop, or other areas where children congregate.
Peekskill, N.Y. – (10/25/11) – Hundreds of residents showed up to a free community barbeque hosted by Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) at the Summit of Mt. Olivet in Peekskill, N.Y. The cookout, which was open to the public, was a chance for Senator Ball to meet face-to-face with his constituents and to share his love of Peekskill.
Mahopac, N.Y. – (09/28/11) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) today visited Mahopac High School to test drive four newly donated driving simulators. The state-of-the-art machines were donated to the school by The Justin Scott Wagner Memorial Foundation, created by Scott Wagner following the loss of his son in a 2007 car accident.

Senator Ball was appointed by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo as part of the 20-member SAGE Commission team, created to consolidate state government and save New Yorkers money.
Senator Ball Accepts Applications at Dutchess County Job Fair
Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – (09/21/11) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) today teamed-up with the Dutchess County Chamber of Commerce to help local people find jobs. The Senator attended a job fair in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. where he accepted applications and resumes for positions open within his Senate office.
“Teaming up with the Chamber, and other employment resources, is critically important to getting people back to work,” said Ball. “At the state level, I’m calling on the governor to convene a Special Session focused specifically on jobs. We simply cannot wait until January to address this crisis,” added Ball.
Peekskill, N.Y. – (09/20/11) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) was in Peekskill last night, speaking publicly for the first time about his call for a Special Legislative Session on job creation. The Senator addressed the Peekskill Common Council, along with a group of engaged residents. Senator Ball has spent the past three months touring the 40th Senate District, providing a legislative update to residents and elected officials. But with the number of people applying for unemployment benefits at a three month high, the Senator decided to shift the focus of this recent meeting to job creation and growth.
