Brewster, N.Y. – (08/04/11) – A bill honoring a Hudson Valley hero who died in the line of duty is now on the books in New York State. Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today signed the Ball, Castelli Michael Perry Memorial Highway bill (S1477A/A1427A). The legislation, sponsored by Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) and Assemblyman Robert Castelli (R, C – Goldens Bridge), designates State Route 119 in Westchester County as the Michael Perry Memorial Highway.
