SENATOR BALL HONORS PUTNAM VALLEY EAGLE SCOUT WITH SENATE PROCLAMATION

Putnam Valley, N.Y. – 01/07/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson), Chairman of the Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee, presented Patrick O’Grady from Putnam Valley with a New York State Senate Proclamation for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout on Sunday afternoon at the Putnam Valley Firehouse.

Ball, who also serves as chairman of the state Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee, joined with the nonprofit group Things We Read and Purple Heart Homes to participate in the closing. Things We Read is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving soldiers deployed overseas.
