The only way to protect all New Yorkers from the financial and health risks associated with the chemical concoction used in the hydraulic fracturing process is to enact a “Property Owner’s Bill of Rights” (S5879). With this legislation, these are some of the key items natural gas companies will be mandated to do:

Join Senator Ball's Fight for Parents Choice on Education

It has come to our attention that local, public school districts are, in the course of seeking mandate relief from the state, recommending that such relief come in a reduction of the maximum mileage at which a district is required to bus nonpublic school students.  Such a reduction, from the current state law mandate of 15 miles to a mere 5 miles, would negatively impact taxpayers’ ability to send their sons and daughters to religious and private schools.  Namely, it would eliminate your right to school choice.

Share Your Views On The Proposed State Budget

PROTECT YOUR 2nd AMENDMENT RIGHTS!

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Despite the intentions of our founding fathers, some in both state government and local government are considering measures that could restrict your right to possess and use legally owned firearms.

Please join with me to help defend our Second Amendment rights.

By signing the petition below you can help send a clear signal that you do not support any actions by government officials that would compromise your freedom to bear arms.

Protect Law Enforcement By Reinstating the Death Penalty for Cop Killers

In 2004, the New York Court of Appeals ruled (in the People v LaValle) that the procedure for imposing the death penalty was flawed. As a result, prosecutors have been unable to seek the death penalty when a law enforcement officer is murdered while performing his duties. Since the LaValle ruling, there have been 8 police officers in New York intentionally murdered, 7 of which have occurred after this legislation enacted a sentence of life without parole for those who kill law enforcement officers. It is clear that a deterrence is needed to address this trend of aggression toward those men and women who put their lives at risk while protecting the citizens of this state.

Please sign the petition below to protect our law enforcement.
