Senator Greg Ball announced today, he will be inviting representatives from the Indian Point Nuclear Power facility to testify on the readiness of the facility and its staff at the Homeland Security Hearing he is chairing on April 8th in New York City. Representatives from Entergy will join Senator Ball, as well as other Homeland security experts including Congressman Peter King Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security and Douglas Ziegler head of security at the MTA. “As the Senate Chair of Homeland Security I take public safety extremely seriously.
