Peekskill, N.Y. – (09/20/11) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) was in Peekskill last night, speaking publicly for the first time about his call for a Special Legislative Session on job creation. The Senator addressed the Peekskill Common Council, along with a group of engaged residents. Senator Ball has spent the past three months touring the 40th Senate District, providing a legislative update to residents and elected officials. But with the number of people applying for unemployment benefits at a three month high, the Senator decided to shift the focus of this recent meeting to job creation and growth.
