SENATOR BALL PRESENTS POTENTIALLY DEVASTATING EFFECTS OF HYDROFRACKING TO MT. KISCO COMMUNITY

 

Mt. Kisco, N.Y.  – (2/9/12) – On Thursday, February 9th, Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) presented some of the potentially devastating effects of hydraulic fracturing – an effort to educate the public on some of the consequences of this practice for New York State.  Hydraulic fracturing, otherwise known as hydrofracking or fracking, is the process of extracting natural gas from gas shale deposits.

SENATOR BALL’S TRAVELING VETERANS’ WALL OF FAME MAKES A STOP AT MONTROSE

 

 

Montrose, N.Y. – (2/9/2012) – On Thursday, February 9th, Senator Greg Ball’s (R, C – Patterson) traveling Veterans’ Wall of Fame stopped at the New York State Veterans’ Home at Montrose so that residents could learn the stories behind the twenty-seven veterans whose names and faces grace the wall. Five of the Veterans that are featured on the wall were in attendance including Eugene Parotta (Croton)Duke Searles (Peekskill)Robert Ulrich (Putnam Valley)Stephen Moravick (Somers), and Gil Tarbox (Kent)

Points of concern among the scant crowd were split between state issues, like tax cap legislation, and micro-issues, including village signage.

TEAM BALL ACCEPTS FORMER MT. KISCO MAYOR INTO WOMEN OF DISTINCTION HALL OF FAME

LOHUD: SENATE BILL INCREASING PENALTIES FOR TERRORISTS USING CREDIT CARDS

The state Senate today passed a bill that will increase penalties for those using credit cards to fund terrorist activities. Sponsored by state Sen. Greg Ball, R-Patterson, the new legislation makes it a more serious felony for those “soliciting or providing support for an act of terrorism” where “the soliciting or providing involves the use of a credit card.”
