BUCHANAN, N.Y. – Less than a dozen people showed to State Sen. Greg Ball’s (R-Patterson) office hours, a question and answer session with the senator, late Wednesday morning at Buchanan Village Hall. Points of concern among the scant crowd were split between state issues, like tax cap legislation, and micro-issues, including village signage.

The state Senate today passed a bill that will increase penalties for those using credit cards to fund terrorist activities. Sponsored by state Sen. Greg Ball, R-Patterson, the new legislation makes it a more serious felony for those “soliciting or providing support for an act of terrorism” where “the soliciting or providing involves the use of a credit card.”

Brewster, N.Y. – (2/4/2012) – On Saturday, February 4, Senator Ball (R, C-Patterson) traveled to Croton Point Park to present a check for $20,000 toward the continued funding and support of the Hudson Valley’s annual Eaglefest.
MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — The Northern Westchester Hospital staff was handed the keys to a brand new radiology-imaging suite this week, and along with the open door came a large reimbursement check from the state of New York. The check, which amounted to $250,000, was a grant to fund the suite in full.
Brewster, N.Y. – (2/3/2012) – On Saturday, February 4, Senator Greg Ball (R, C-Patterson) will join the kids of Lewisboro Elementary for a circus-themed carnival. The kids will enjoy music, games, face painting, and arts and crafts. Lunch will be served after 11:00 A.M., with candy and snacks available all day. The kids will also get the chance to win an iPod and other themed baskets in the children’s raffle.
