With that being said, I will continue with my demands for forensic accounting to protect blue collar families like mine who are struggling. This tax cut for the middle class is exactly the shot in the arm working families need and is a great jobs focused package that begins to adjust our unfair tax code, while eliminating the job killing MTA payroll tax for the vast majority of payers. Now more than ever we must remain focused on job creation and push even harder moving into 2012 to alleviate the tax burden for working families, seniors and small business owners. This is a great first step towards that goal!
ALBANY, NY (12/06/2011)(readMedia)– The Cranberry Mountain Wildlife Management Area has expanded by a third with New York state’s acquisition of a 261-acre property in Putnam County that is prized for wildlife habitat and water quality protection, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Joe Martens announced today. The property, known as North Hollow, is located within the Great Swamp watershed and was acquired by the state with federal grant money and a private donation.
Faced with a worsening financial climate, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said Wednesday that he was contemplating whether to propose changes to the state tax code, and he did not rule out the possibility that he would seek to raise taxes on wealthy New Yorkers.
