Sen. Farley Salutes Tobacco Story Contest Winners

State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) had the pleasure of meeting with two students from the HFM BOCES Alternative High School on May 11th in Albany. The students recently participated in a "share your tobacco story" contest and spoke with the Senator about their personal stories regarding tobacco use. Senator Farley Participates in Job Shadow Day

State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) had the privilege of being a mentor to Elizabeth Besozzi, a Glenville resident and a 10th grade student at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, and Michael McLean, a Schenectady High School 10th grader, on April 13th as part of the League of Women Voters of NYS Education Foundation, Inc.'s Students Inside Albany Conference. The students shadowed Senator Farley for the day and attended the Senate's Legislative Session.

State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) and the Catholic Charities Family Resource and Support Center hosted a free Community and Family Wellness Day on April 9th at the Riverfront Center. Over 60 agencies and some 350 attendants were at the health fair. Senator Farley presents Family Resource and Support Center Director Amy L. Senator Farley Salutes Outstanding Fonda-Fultonville Student

State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) was a guest speaker at the Amsterdam Family YMCA's awards breakfast on March 25th. The event honored 20 senior students and six educators from the Amsterdam, Broadalbin-Perth, Galway and Fonda-Fultonville high schools. Among the honorees were Fonda-Fultonville senior Lauren Crandall, who received the Amsterdam Family YMCA 2010 Outstanding Senior Student Award; and Damian Ubriaco, of Galway High School, who received the 2010 Outstanding Educator Award.
