New York State Flag Presented to Boy Scout Troop 315

I was honored to present Boy Scout Troop 315 with a New York State flag at their troop meeting Saturday, July 17th.  The troop traveled with the flag to the 2010 National Scout Jamboree in Virginia on July 25th.  The National Jamboree attracts thousands of boy scouts from across the country every four years.  This year's theme is "Celebrate 100 Years of Scouting" to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.

Troop 315 purchased the mandated Boy Scouts of America flag for their trip and asked for a donation of a New York State flag.  I was pleased to help by providing the toop with the state flag.  I wish the best of luck to troop 315 on their trip to Fort A.P Hill, Virginia.
