Dear Constituents of the 34th Senate District:

I share the frustration you and other New Yorkers have voiced to me over what is currently happening in the State Senate. For the past three weeks legislation crucial to the lives of New Yorkers has been held hostage by a power play that began on June 8, and by the refusal of some of my colleges to put the welfare of the people of New York ahead of their own political ambitions. I want to assure you that I am doing everything I can to help resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
