Since my earliest days in the Assembly I have fought for middle class families. Whether it’s providing a free graffiti removal service and street cleaning to keep our neighborhoods in top shape, or making sure NYC schools get their fair share of education aid, I am committed to providing a superior quality of life for hard working people.  

BRONX-Over 700 parents, grandparents, and children streamed into Maestro's for SenatorJeff Klein's 14th Annual East Bunny Breakfast. Families enjoyed a complimentary continenal breakfast while kids siddled up to the Easter Bunny for pictures. The morning was filled with fun activities from a special "build a bunny" station, to the magical stylings of John the Magician. Senator Klein got in on the action too, helping kids stuff personal bunnies and talking to parents about education and other issues of concern.

BRONX-After months of negotiations between the Commissioner of the Department of Health, Westchester Square Medical Center, and New York Presbyterian, Senator Klein is pleased to announce that Westchester Square will remain open. 

NEW YORK-In the interest of increasing access to Italian culture for both the Italian American community, and the 34th Senate District at large, Senator Jeff Klein met with the Consul General of Italy, the honorable Francesco Maria Talo. The two leaders discussed ways in which to increase access to the services and resources provided by the Consulate.

CITY ISLAND-This Sunday, Senator Jeff Klein swung by St. Mary's Star of the Sea to present a check for  $7,000 to the recently formed City Island Basketball League. Accompanied by his staff, City Island native and St. Mary's Star of the Sea basketball team alumus, John Doyle, the Senator paid special tribute to the Island's exceptional committment to athletic activities. A strong supporter of after school programs and childhood athletics, Senator Klein spoke about the importance of community in the ongoing fight against childhood obesity.

ALBANY-Today Senator Jeff Klein (D-Westchester/Bronx) and Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D-Yonkers) voted to pass legislation to pour an additional $26 million into Yonkers Raceway.

BRONX-This weekend Senator Klein spread the love from Schuyler Hill to Westchester Square. Dropping by the library on Westchester Avenue, Klein got crafty with local kids, glueing and glittering valentines for ailing veterans at the Bronx VA Hospital. The only elected official to ever visit the library's program in it's 18 year history, Klein encouraged the community youngsters, reminding them of the importance of self-sacrifice and that everyone big or small has something to contribute.
