Senator DeFrancisco Celebrates the 15th Anniversary of PACE CNY

Senator John A. DeFrancisco helped cut the first piece of cake in celebration of PACE CNY's 15th anniversary.  He is pictured with PACE Director Penny Abulencia, St. Joseph's Hospital President Kathy Ruscitto and Loretto President Bruce Buchanan.  PACE CNY offers all-inclusive homecare to elderly residents living in Onondaga County.

Senator DeFrancisco was instrumental in the startup of PACE CNY.  In 1994, he sponsored legislation that authorized the Department of Social Services to contract for chronic care management programs, allowing Loretto to move forward with PACE operations. 

PACE CNY held a 15th Anniversary Celebration on May 8, 2013, at its Sally Coyne Center in North Syracuse.

Senator DeFrancisco Helps Unveil the Pango Mobile Parking System in Auburn

Senator John A. DeFrancisco speaks during a press conference to announce the Pango Mobile Parking System on May 3, 2013, in front of the Cayuga County Courthouse. The new system will allow drivers at various locations in downtown Auburn to pay for metered parking through their cell phones.  You can sign up for the parking service and download the app by visiting www.pango-parking.com.

Paying Tribute to Colleen Mastine

Senator John A. DeFrancisco looks on as the director of Casey's Place unveils a plaque in memory of the late Colleen H. Mastine.  Mastine, a long-time staffer in Senator DeFrancisco's district office, passed away last year.  She was an active member of the board of directors for Casey's Place and a tireless advocate for all local constituents.  Casey’s Place in Syracuse provides more than 300 families with respite services for their children.

State Senator John A. DeFrancisco presented Baldwinsville high school football player Tyler Rouse with a Senate Resolution in Albany on March 7, 2013.  Rouse was named Gatorade's 2012-2013 New York Player of the Year.  Rouse is a student at C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY.  Standing with Senator DeFrancisco from the Baldwinsville Central School District are Head Football Coach Carl Sanfilippo, Tyler Rouse and Athletic Director Chris Campoleta.
