Senator DeFrancisco Joins in Announcing ArtsWeek.

Senator DeFrancisco joined in announcing the Orange Line Gallery ArtsWeek, a two-weekend program of visual and performing arts events: July 29-August 1st, and August 7, 2010. ArtsWeek is the region's largest celebration of the arts, and includes many interactive family-orientated arts activities and festivals conveniently located Downtown Syracuse.

Senator DeFrancisco secured  the funding for two of the headlining festivals taking place during ArtsWeek.

Senator DeFrancisco Attends Grand Opening of La Casita Cultural Center in Syracuse

Senator John A. DeFrancisco helped celebrate the opening of La Casita Cultural Center, located in the The Lincoln Building on Otisco Street in Syracuse.  The center is the only Latino cultural center in the region.  It is a project of Syracuse University.  A grand opening celebration was held on September 28th.

State Senator John A. DeFrancisco, a long-time supporter of the arts, helped announce the 2012 Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival during a press conference at Jazz Central on June 26, 2012. The festival will take place in Syracuse's Clinton Square July 27-28th.
