As Chairman of the State Senate Finance Committee, I continue to seek important answers during ongoing budget hearings in Albany.  On the following Your Voice cable program, I discuss my questioning of the NYS Office of Children and Family Services Commissioner on the status of revised day care provider regulations. On this program of Your Voice, I talk about the bills and policy measures that will be negotiated during the final three weeks of Legislative Session. I also explain my efforts to ensure that the Governor’s Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) plan will provide ratepayers with safe, reliable energy.

Finally on the program, I provide more details about legislation that would allow pension service credit buyback for certain veterans.

 

 

Update from Albany: Senator DeFrancisco Discusses the End-of-Session Agenda on Your Voice

On this week’s Your Voice cable program, Senator John A. DeFrancisco discuss what’s left to accomplish during the final week of legislative session. He also discusses two of his bills, which recently passed the State Senate, that would require a cost benefit analysis of the Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) initiative and would create a database for terrorists.  

Finally on the program, Senator DeFrancisco raises awareness about Arteriovenous Malformation, also know as AVM, and he shares some highlights from his Rebuttal at the 115th legislative Correspondents Association Show.
