A resident of Delhi for almost 50 years, Ms. Adams volunteers for medical transportation services through the Office of the Aging, is a member of the Delaware County Senior Council, a member of the Delhi Senior Social Club, and is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Delhi, among other community involvement.

On Saturday, April 27, 2013 Senator John J. Bonacic attended the 7th Annual Greenwood Forest Farms Association, Inc. Spring Luncheon honoring businessman Mr. Leo Kaytes and photographer Mr. John Robinson for their valued community service at the Warwick Valley Country Club in Warwick. Greenwood Forest Farms Association, Inc. is dedicated to gathering and preserving the historical information of New York State's first African American resort community, founded in 1919 in the Town of Warwick, NY.

On Friday, April 26, 2013 Senator John J. Bonacic, along with other elected officials and department heads, met with representatives from the New York State Department of Transportation in Monticello to discuss the Pond Eddy Bridge.

Mr. Coleman, of Coleman Country Day Camp, was presented a pen certificate commemorating the passage of Senator Bonacic’s legislation, (S6466B of 2012) that allows all children’s camps to employ licensed health care professionals in order to serve the needs of children during their summer camp experience.
On Saturday, April 20, 2013 Senator Bonacic attended the 3rd Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event, held at the grounds of the Sullivan County Government Center and Broadway in Monticello. The event helped raise funds for the RISE (Rape Intervention Services and Education) Program in Sullivan County. This event is always a great time that raises funds and awareness for an important cause.
