Senator John Bonacic met with Monticello native, Bobbijo McCauley, a fourth year graphic design student at FIT during SUNY’s Discovery Expo in Albany. Bobbijo and Senator Bonacic discussed Bobbijo’s project which was on display as well as her internship with MTV’s on-air design department.

On Sunday, October 23rd Senator Bonacic attended the 3rd Annual Home of the Free Because of the Brave WPDH Radiothon at Anthony's Pier 9 in New Windsor. Senator Bonacic and his wife, Pat, had the honor and privilege to put a stitch in the National 9/11 Flag, which has traveled this great country.

The breakfast will be held at the Glasco Fire Company Banquet Hall located at 138 Liberty Street Extension in Glasco, N.Y. If you are a veteran, Senator Bonacic would like to honor you with you a complimentary panccake breakfast and an opportunity to hear about veterans' benefits in New York State.
On Thursday, August 11th, 2011 Senator Bonacic attended and spoke at the signing of the consent order between TechCity and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). The Consent Order enables TechCity to redevelop portions of the site for productive uses while requiring the cleanup of the property in other areas.
On Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011 Senator Bonacic attended the grand opening ceremony/ribbon-cutting of the Senior/Community Center in the Town of Wawayanda.

On July 29th, 2011 Senator Bonacic attended and spoke at the celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Orange Regional Medical Center. Orange Regional is the first new hospital in New York State in over twenty years. This new state-of-the-art facility located in the Town of Wallkill will provide families with high-tech healthcare services that were previously unavailable in our area.

On Wednesday, July 27th, 2011, Jillian Dolce an 8th grade student from Minisink Valley Middle School visited Senator Bonacic to discuss her Not-for-Profit organization, One Step at a Time, Inc." Jillian started her nonprofit organization last year while organizing a walk for Lymphoma Research in honor of one of her teachers. Jillian was able to rais over $16,000.00, all of which was donated to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for Lymphoma Research.
Jillian is currently organizing her 2nd Annual Walk for Lymphoma to be held on September 25th, 2011 in Shannon Park, Slate Hill, N.Y. All proceeds will benefit Memorial Sloan-Kettering Center for Lymphoma Research.
