2012 REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL AWARDS

SENATOR JOHN BONACIC SECURES $250,000 GRANT FOR THE TOWN OF ROSENDALE

MONIES TO HELP FUND NEW POOL PROJECT, INCREASES QUALITY OF LIFE FOR COMMUNITY

Senator John Bonacic (R/I/C – Mt. Hope) announces that he has secured $250,000 in funding from the New York State Economic Development Program for the Town of Rosendale, Ulster County. The monies will be used to replace the current pool which has been deemed unsafe to operate due to deterioration of its exterior shell, plumbing and piping, and high levels of water leakage. The pool’s bathhouse will also see improvements in its showers and toilet facilities, which will be open and available to those visiting the nearby rail trails.

Senator Bonacic at the Sullivan Renaissance Local Market & Expo, Ferndale

Senator Bonacic addressed audience members at the recent Sullivan Renaissance Local Market and Expo held at the CVI Center in Ferndale.  He expressed pride in being a part of great team of leaders, business owners and residents, all working together to promote Sullivan's shops and markets, and to congratulate everyone involved on a terrific event.
