Senator John Bonacic attended the first Orange County Chamber of Commerce’s NYS Legislators Briefing on January 8, 2015. This was the chamber’s first general membership breakfast of the year. The Senator spoke on issues of concern to the chamber, and also took questions from the audience. Senator Bonacic joined local business leaders and elected officials this morning for a chilly, but enthusiastic ground breaking ceremony for Piller USA, Inc’s new facility in the Town of Wallkill. Currently, Piller operates a facility in the Town, but this new location will help better serve the needs of their customers and the employees of the company. Piller is a global electric equipment manufacturer, and the Town of Wallkill is their only location in the United States.
The best of Sullivan County was on display this past Sunday as the Chamber of Commerce hosted the twenty-fourth annual Pride of Sullivan County Awards. Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to attend and congratulate the award recipients on their contributions to the economic vitality to the County.
