The Sullivan Renaissance Conference this past weekend provided an opportunity to hear about all the good things going on in the County, and the good things to come. Senator Bonacic met recently with representatives from Mount Hope's Town Board to discuss issues affecting their community, and presented them with a pen certificate of a law he sponsored that settled the land dispute between Sullivan and Orange Counties; lands which were located on the border of Mount Hope. Senator Bonacic congratulates Dottie Ehlers, named Republican of the Year by the Town of Warwick's Republican Committee. Here they are at the committe's Annual Spring Brunch, along with Erlers' grandson. The Senator thanked Ehlers for her accomplishments and service to the Republican Committee.

Senator John Bonacic announces that the Town of Mount Hope has been awarded $100,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Capital Program.
“The funding was able to be secured as a result of the strong advocacy by County Legislators, Melissa Bonacic and Dennis Simmons, along with the leadership of Town Supervisor, Chad Volpe,” said Senator Bonacic.
