Senator Bonacic attends the Sullivan Renaissance Conference

The Sullivan Renaissance Conference this past weekend provided an opportunity to hear about all the good things going on in the County, and the good things to come.  Here is the Senator with keynote speaker and Mayor of Ithaca, Svante Myrick (center) and Congressman Chris Gibson (19th District, NY, R). 

Senator Bonacic Meets with Mount Hope Town Board reps and Town Supervisor, Chad Volpe

Senator Bonacic met recently with representatives from Mount Hope's Town Board to discuss issues affecting their community, and presented them with a pen certificate of a law he sponsored that settled the land dispute between Sullivan and Orange Counties; lands which were located on the border of Mount Hope.  Here is the Senator with Board members, Janet Sutherland, Gary Ketcham, and  Town Supervisor, Chad Volpe.

Senator Bonacic Congratulates Dottie Ehlers, Republican of the Year (Town of Warwick Republican Committee)

Senator Bonacic congratulates Dottie Ehlers, named Republican of the Year by the Town of Warwick's Republican Committee.  Here they are at the committe's Annual Spring Brunch, along with Erlers' grandson.  The Senator thanked Ehlers for her accomplishments and service to the Republican Committee.

Senator Bonacic announces that the Town of Deerpark has been awarded $50,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Program.

Senator Bonacic Secures $50,000 Grant for the Town of Masonville

Senator John Bonacic (R/I/C – Mt. Hope) announces that the Town of Masonville will receive $50,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Capital program. 

According to project details, the monies are needed to replace a plow truck/sand spreader, a purchase which will place the Town in a better position to keep roads safe next winter and beyond.

Senator Bonacic Secures $50,000 Grant for the Town of Gardiner

Senator John Bonacic announces that the Town of Gardiner has been awarded $50,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Program.

Plans call for increased parking spots for recreational events, and an extension of sidewalks to directly connect Town Hall, Gardiner’s business district, ball fields and rail trail.

Senator Bonacic Secures $50,000 Grant for the Town of Denning

Senator John J. Bonacic announces that the Town of Denning has been awarded $50,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Program. 

The monies will be used to make necessary upgrades and repairs to the Town’s Highway Garage, including a new roof, replacing damaged ceiling panels, and installing cost-cutting insulation to windows.

Senator Bonacic Secures $50,000 Grant for the Town of Lumberland

Senator John Bonacic announces that the Town of Lumberland has been awarded $50,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Program. 

The funding will go towards repairing deteriorating sidewalks and fence railings around the Thomas F. Hill Municipal building, creating a safer path for residents and workers.

Senator Bonacic Secures $100,000 Grant for the Town of Mount Hope

Senator John Bonacic announces that the Town of Mount Hope has been awarded $100,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Capital Program.

“The funding was able to be secured as a result of the strong advocacy by County Legislators, Melissa Bonacic and Dennis Simmons, along with the leadership of Town Supervisor, Chad Volpe,” said Senator Bonacic.
