Information on The Autism Bill

Legislation co-sponsored by State Senator John Bonacic (R/C/I – Mt. Hope) will enable individuals with autism to receive insurance coverage for the screening, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders was signed by Governor Cuomo earlier this month.

The Tax Cap - It's Law

Dear Friend:

Right now, cities and counties across New York State are writing next year's budget...and deciding how much in local property taxes families should pay.

New York's historic tax cap was signed into law earlier this year by Governor Cuomo.  New York State actually reduced State spending this year.  Now, local officials have their turn.

In October, I met with many local officials across the four counties of our Senate District.

Some officials are looking for loppholes in Governor Cuomo's new tax cap law - loopholes fought for by the speical  interests to allow spending to grow and grow, even as families are concerned about making ends meet.

3rd ANNUAL HOME OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE WPDH RADIOTHON

On Sunday, October 23rd Senator Bonacic attended the 3rd Annual Home of the Free Because of the Brave WPDH Radiothon at Anthony's Pier 9 in New Windsor.  Senator Bonacic and his wife, Pat, had the honor and privilege to put a stitch in the National 9/11 Flag, which has traveled this great country.

Bonacic Receives Farm Bureau's "Circle Of Friends" Recognition

State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/I/C – Mount Hope) has been named a member of the New York State Farm Bureau’s “Circle of Friends” for his steadfast support of New York Agriculture and the issues that affect farmers.

“The Farm Industry is an important economic component of New York State,” said Senator Bonacic. “Agriculture is literally the bread and butter of our communities and protecting this essential industry is a priority.”
