On Monday, March 3, 2014 Senator Bonacic met with Orange County farmers at the New York Farm Bureau reception in Albany. They discussed issues of importance to the agricultural community in the Hudson Valley.
Senator Bonacic congratulates the student musicians, music teachers and conductors for their terrific performance at the 60th Annual All County Music Festival held at Tri-Valley High School on Saturday, March 1. The festival, presented by the Sullivan County Music Educators' Association, was dedicated to the memory of Mr. Tim Barcone, a long time supporter of music in the County.

Governor Cuomo has recently announced his intention to give free college classes to individuals incarcerated in state prisons. I do not support this plan.
While I am in favor of rehabilitation and reduced recidivism of inmates, I cannot in good conscience support the Governor’s plan when so many individuals and families in New York are struggling to meet the ever-rising costs of higher education.
