School’s Open -- Drive Carefully!

It’s that time when millions of children across New York State will put away their bikes and swimsuits, and head back to school. This is an exciting time for many boys and girls as new experiences and challenges await.

It’s also a time for increased vigilance and awareness by all New Yorkers. With schools back in session, local streets will be filled with school buses and children rushing to them.

Making Home Ownership Affordable - Help Homeownership And Economic Stabilization For Long Island Program

The purpose of the HELP pilot program isassist Long Island employers with retaining and recruiting qualified employees by providing those employees with the financial assistance needed to purchase and rehabilitate housing on Long Island. It will also encourage development in downtown areas and hamlet centers to improve the economic vitality within the community. Most existing affordable housing programs limit participation to individuals and families with incomes 80%, or less, of the median.
