On Saturday, August 28th, Senator Robach took part in a march to remember the life of Norman Williams. This is the third year for the march, which was held by his mother, Mrs. Alpha Harris. Williams was killed on the corner of Frost Ave. and Jefferson Ave. The march began at that corner and continued to Victory Living Christian Faith Center.
On Saturday, August 28th, Senator Robach made remarks at Smoke, Flames, and Courage 2010, which was held at Ontario Beach Park in Charlotte. Smoke, Flames, and Courage was an expo of firefighting past and present, and took place for two days. It featured displays and exhibits for families throughout the weekend. On Friday, August 27th, Senator Robach attended the First Church Divine Hall of Fame Stella Awards Dinner, where he presented an award to Linda James, Executive Director of Skip Generations. Pictured with Senator Robach are Dr. Lloyd T. Oldham and Linda James.

On Friday, August 27th, Senator Robach attended, and provided remarks at, a press conference regarding the advancements that are being made in the health care industry regarding new medicines for children. Rochester General Hospital hosted the press conference.
On Thursday, August 26th, Senator Robach took part in the 2010 Greece Central School District Commencement Ceremony. The ceremony, which took place at Greece Athena High School, honored graduates of the district's Adult Literacy GED program, Bridges Program, and high school graduates from Greece Arcadia, Greece Olympia, Greece Athena, and Odyssey Academy.
On Saturday and Sunday, August 28th and 29th, Charlotte will host Smoke, Flames, and Courage 2010, an expo of firefighting past and present. Smoke, Flames, and Courage takes place each day from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Port of Rochester and Ontario Beach Park. Free events include: hall of firefighting history, displays of moden and antique fire apparatus, hand pumping, bucket brigades and steam fire engine with horses, rescue simulations, rescue boats, fire safety exhibits, fire memorabilia flea market, band concerts, children's activities, explorer efficiency competitions, and family safety awareness. On Wednesday, August 25th, Senator Robach spoke at a ceremony to honor Veterans which was held at Fleming Point Gracious Retirement in Greece. Veterans in attendance also received a quilt from the Fleming Point quilting club.
On Wednesday, August 25th, Senator Robach introduced Ruby Shooz, who played at the final 2010 Concert by the Shore of the summer. Concerts by the Shore, which just wrapped up its 26th season provided free entertainment to families all summer long at Ontario Beach Park in Charlotte.
On Tuesday, August 24th, the Town of Greece Police Department honored residents who have gone through its Citizen’s Police Academy program with a picnic at Greece Town Hall. Members of the program were lauded for their commitment to help make Greece neighborhoods safe for families. Recently, Senator Robach took part in a health fair held at Power House Kingdom Cathedral Church of God in Christ. The health fair was a chance for people to find out their blood pressure and also receive HIV, glucose, and lead testing. On Friday, August 20th, Senator Robach provided remarks to bicycle riders who were taking part in a ride from Rochester to Buffalo. On Friday, August 13th, Senator Robach visited with guests at The Community Place of Greater Rochester Youth Department Family Fun Day Luncheon. Programs for family fun day centered around reading, health and self esteem.
On Thursday, August 12th, Community Place of Greater Rochester held its annual Health Fair and Rummage Sale. On Thursday August 12th, Senator Robach made remarks during a press conference at Rochester General Hospital to announce an energy-efficient lighting project. The project, once complete, will save the hospital more than $80,000 annually in energy costs.
