Annex The Mills at High Falls Ribbon Cutting

On Monday, September 19th, Senator Robach spoke at, and took part in, a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Annex The Mills at High Falls. Construction on the project started in April 2010, and was completed in July. The total cost of the project was $7.5 million. The buildings, located on State Street in downtown Rochester are anticipated to be fully occupied by the end of this year. Tops Re-Opens Hilton Store

Last week, I had the opportunity to visit with employees and customers at the newest Tops Friendly Market store in Hilton. The Hilton location is the 15th store in Monroe County and the 133rd store in the company’s New York/Pennsylvania market.


Shoppers at the Hilton Tops will see immediate changes in the 27,000 square-foot location such as exterior signage, aisle signs, the addition of Tim Horton’s kiosk and increased product variety, including Tops brand products.


More renovations are on the way to the store, which are expected to begin in early January and be completed in the spring.


There are approximately 32 full-time and 50 part-time associates at the Hilton location.

D4 Celebrates Move to New Location

On Thursday, September 29th, Senator Robach had the opportunity to attend, and speak at, a ribbon-cutting ceremony for D4, LLC, a leading provider of eDiscovery, Computer Forensics and Litigation Support Services for Law Firms and Corporations. They recently moved to 222 Andrews Street in Rochester.


D4 invested 1.6 million dollars in the renovation of the building and installation of a high security Data Center with assistance from a number of state and local agencies.


The move allows for continued growth and expansion for D4, as the company plans to hire additional employees this year and into 2012. D4 has 8 offices around the country and is looking to add additional locations in 2012. For more information visit

Monro Muffler Breaks Ground on Expansion

On Thursday, October 13th, Senator Robach had the privilege to attend, and speak at, a ceremony where Monro Muffler Brake Inc.’s broke ground on a $4 million expansion. Monro Muffler is adding 70,000 square feet to its offices and warehouse at the Holleder Industrial Park in Rochester. Founded in 1957, Monro Muffler employs 5,000 at 800 locations in 19 states.

Solid Cell, Inc. Awarded NYSERDA Grant

On Tuesday, November 22nd, I had the opportunity to speak at a ceremony to announce a $200,000 NYSERDA grant to Solid Cell, Inc for product development and manufacture of its proprietary modified planar solid oxide fuel cell technology. The grant specifically targets manufacture of the Company’s patent-pending ceramic interconnect. Solid Cell was one of only a handful of companies selected under the highly competitive “Environmentally Preferred Power Systems Technologies” program. MBR Group Opens New Office at Culver Road Armory

On Thursday, December 8th, Senator Robach had the opportunity to speak at, and take part in, the official grand opening ceremony for MRB Group in their new home at the Culver Road Armory. Fleet Feets Sports Rochester Opens in Greece

On Tuesday night, December 13th, Senator Robach had the privilege to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at Fleet Feet Sports Rochester's newest location on Ridgeway Avenue in Greece. Ellen Brenner and her husband, Dave, are co-owners of Fleet Feet. They also have a location in Brighton. There was also a three-mile run/walk last night following the ceremony.
