The Battery Celebrates 30 Years

On March 2nd, I had the privilege to attend the 30th Anniversary of The Battery, located in Gates. A small family owned and run business, The Battery is proud to have contributed to make reality the dreams of thousands of young people. We are proud of the Battery students who through the years have signed with Division 1 colleges and universities; proud of those who signed professional contracts , and proud to have a Battery-trained student in the major leagues.

Inspire! Learning and Childcare Opens at Greenleaf Meadows

Brighton Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting

I was pleased to join members of the Brighton Chamber of Commerce for their annual meeting yesterday afternoon. I'm pictured here with outgoing President Brennan Redman and incoming President Nelson Lopatin. I'm proud to be a member of the Brighton Chamber of Commerce, and appreciate all they do for business and commerce in the Brighton community. 

Chelsy's Place Opens in the City of Rochester

Congratulations to Jose and Wendy Navedo, and everyone at Chelsy's Place on their grand opening over the weekend. Chelsy's offers Spanish and American cuisine, and is open from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. 7 days a week! The Navedo's put a lot of sweat and equity in to making this a great restaurant for all to enjoy. Abode Furniture Opens in the Southwedge

Located at 289 Gregory Street, Abode Furniture held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their new store in the Southwedge area of the City of Rochester. Abode offers a variety of affordable household items from local, national and vintage designers.

Founders Cafe Opens in the Academy Building

I recently joined George Traikos and the Traikos family for the opening of the Founders Cafe in the Academy Building in Downtown Rochester. Located at 13 South Fitzhugh Street, the Founders Cafe offers a variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads and coffee.
