Thanks to our Vets!

Senator Addabbo with Audrey Glass (Special Events, Director PS 88) and 5th Grade students from PS 88 in Ridgewood collecting Valentine's day card for veterans. The Senator will bring them to the veterans at St. Albans hospital on February 11th to thank them for the years of service to this country.

Queens, NY, July 12, 2010 – NY State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. (D-Queens) today announced the passage of legislation which would direct the NYS Division of Veterans Affairs to provide information regarding available resources to assist veterans in establishing and sustaining a business.

“I am very pleased that this important legislation was passed by the Senate,” said Senator Addabbo.  “The purpose of this legislation is to require the Division of Veterans Affairs to provide information regarding resources that are available to assist veterans in establishing and sustaining a small business by maintaining a small business portal on the division’s Web site,” explained the Senator.
